Named after the Canadian Prime Minister; Pierre Elliot Trudeau Foundational Scholarship is used to financially support National and international students going for their Ph.D. program focusing on specific topics and awards to 16 students who already have been admitted to the Canadian Doctorate School. 5.UNIVERSITY OF WATERLOO SCHOLARSHIP

To students who have taken their master’s degree in a research-based program as the university awarded this scholarship. Students in all topics are eligible, however, they will be screened to see if they meet the necessary criteria needed for the scholarship. The scholarship is open to students in all spheres such as undergraduate, masters, and Ph.D.

The amount of the scholarship is CAD2, 500 per semester for those students who win it. 6.UNIVERSITY OF CALGARY INTERNATIONAL ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP

This is an undergraduate scholarship awarded to two students each year who passes the English proficiency exam and has proven that they are academically excellent by showing their academic results among other things.

The students awarded these scholarships must maintain a required CGPA to continue to get this scholarship and the minimum requirement is 2.60. The scholarship is open to both the international and national students and their academic and non-academic records will be used to judge them. The total amount of the scholarship is CAD 60,000 and it is renewable for the whole 4 years as long as the 2.6 GPA requirement is kept by the awardees. 7.University of Toronto Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship

This scholarship is open to 37 students who have demonstrated to have attributes related to leadership, commitment, excellence, etc. for the full 4 years they will be in the school. This scholarship does not only cover the tuition, it is a total waiver of tuition, textbooks, and accommodation.

The only students qualified for this scholarship are first-time bachelor’s degree students who have been nominated by their school. When this nomination has been made, the university will have to approve it before the student can be awarded the scholarship.
